U jedinstvenom ambijentu Muzeja grada Trogira, Oratorijski zbor Crkve sv. Marka – Cantores Sancti Marci i Ansambl Glazbene staze, uz mezzosopranisticu Dinu Jularić Ivančić i pod ravnanjem Jurice Petra Petrača, donose večer prožetu spojem sakralne glazbe i temperamenta argentinskog tanga. Na programu su Ave Maria (Tanti anni prima) Astora Piazzolle te Misa a Buenos Aires (Misatango) Martina Palmerija – dojmljivo djelo koje tradicionalnu misu povezuje s ritmovima i emocijom tanga.
Oratorijski zbor Crkve sv. Marka – Cantores Sancti Marci osnovan je 1988. godine, obnavljajući tradiciju istoimenog zbora utemeljenog još 1920. Zbor njeguje bogatu baštinu hrvatske sakralne glazbe, ali i izvodi značajna djela svjetskog repertoara koja se rijetko mogu čuti u Hrvatskoj. Redovito surađuje s vodećim hrvatskim orkestrima i ansamblima te nastupa na uglednim glazbenim festivalima, a za svoj je rad osvojio niz domaćih i međunarodnih priznanja.
In the unique setting of the Trogir Museum, the Oratorio Choir of St Mark’s Church – Cantores Sancti Marci and the Glazbene staze Ensemble, joined by mezzo-soprano Dina Jularić Ivančić and conducted by Jurica Petar Petrač, present an evening combining sacred music with the passion of Argentine tango. The programme features Astor Piazzolla’s Ave Maria (Tanti anni prima) and Martín Palmeri’s Misa a Buenos Aires (Misatango) – a captivating work blending the traditional Mass with the rhythms and expressive character of tango.
The Oratorio Choir of St Mark’s Church – Cantores Sancti Marci was founded in 1988, reviving the tradition of the renowned choir first established in 1920. The ensemble is dedicated to preserving Croatia’s rich sacred music heritage while also presenting important international works rarely heard in Croatia. It regularly collaborates with leading Croatian orchestras and ensembles, has appeared at many major music festivals, and has received numerous national and international awards.
