Renesansna tvrđava koja zaključuje gradske zidine, sagrađena na vrhu brijega koji sa sjeverne strane nadvisuje grad. Dovršena je 1551., a građena je u istom mahu s Fabrikom i Arsenalom. Ističe se s tri polukružna baluarda i bastionom kojim je proširena prema zapadu početkom 17. stoljeća. Izgrađena je na mjestu koje ima kontinuiranu fortifikacijsku funkciju od pretpovijesti.

A Renaissance fortress that closes the city walls, built on top of a hill that overlooks the city from the north side. It was completed in 1551, and was built on the same scale as the Factory and the Arsenal. It stands out with three semicircular bulwarks and a bastion with which it was extended to the west at the beginning of the 17th century. It was built on a site that has had a continuous fortification function since prehistory.
